Everyone Plays Pool In The APA.... Talk to your friends, neighbors, and co-workers. You'll find that they either play in the APA or know someone who does. It'll surprise you! Clerks, secretaries, janitors, lawyers, chiropractors, doctors, waitresses, truck drivers, bank tellers, and even school teachers ... all play pool in the APA Pool League. Over one fourth of APA members are female.
The APA is the World's Largest Amateur Pool League with more members than all other amateur leagues combined. Nationally, the APA currently boasts over 280,000 members (and growing). UPDATE ON DICK
SUNDAY, 2/28 THEY HAD TO AMPUTATE DICK'S LEFT LEG AND FOOT. HE IS DOING WELL AND WITH THE PROPER HEALING HE WILL BE ABLE TO GET A NEW LEG AND FOOT IN 6 TO 8 WEEKS. HE IS IN UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL AND WILL BE THERE AT LEAST 2 WEEKS. HE IS IN A LOT OF PAIN RIGHT NOW AND ON MEDICATION TO HELP OUT AND IS A LITTLE CONFUSED ABOUT EVERYTHING. I KNOW A FEW OF YOU WANT TO VISIT BUT PLEASE WAIT UNTIL WEDNESDAY AT LEAST. THIS WILL GIVE HIM A COUPLE OF DAYS TO GET USE TO THIS NEW SITUATION. THANKS, PAT

NEW SESSION UNDERWAY
Spring Session is the last pool year session and it is the last session to qualify for the LTC in May/June. All players going to the LTC must have played with the team at least 4 times in the Spring Session and must have an establish handicap ( at least 10 scores in last 2 years in the same format they are going to the LTC in). Any teams needing players please email me at: apa@apatampa.com with your request so I can add you to my list. I have a few new players who are looking for teams, hopefully it will be in your area and night.
The extra bonus points were for the first week and so many of you did not read what you needed to do to get them. It was easy points for most of the teams, sorry you missed out, all you had to do was read and follow instructions to get them. Some of you listened to other players/teams and did not get all the info nor the bonus points. They are not good after the first week except to those couple of teams who had bye's this week and did not get their packages, most of the bye teams got packages and complied. GOOD FOR ALL THOSE WHO READ AND REAPED THE EXTRA POINTS.
